Michałowo

Michałowo is an attractive village located in north-east of Poland in the province of Podlasie. It's a multicultural village of over 3300. Many ethnic groups like Jews, Tartars and others have lived in Michałowo rural district. Michałowo was founded in 1832 and its original name was "Niezbudka". Before World War I it was an important centre for textile industry.

There are many places worth visiting like Catholic Church under God's Providence or Orthodox Church. You can  also visit Michałowo Lake, where you can sunbathe, swim or just meet with friends.

There are many things to do in Michałowo. You can go sailing on Siemianówka Lake. You can watch performances in the amphitheatre too. As well as that, there are many places to visit outside the village like Tartar Mosque and Cemetery in Kruszyniany or Narew National Park. If you want to go out and eat something you must visit Gospoda pub.

Podlasie - one of 16 Polish provinces. It's   located in the north-east of Poland. Narew River flows in its center. Its capital is Białystok.

Narew National Park - was created on 1 July 1996. The size of it is 6 810 ha. There are 203 bird species.
